Thoughtful guidance for every stage of life

My Journey as a Mortgage Broker...

I was a single mom with one main goal: to raise my son to be a good human being. Today, as an adult, he is honest, caring, thoughtful, responsible, and dependable - my greatest accomplishment and the thing I’m most proud of.

Born and raised in Alberta, I moved to B.C. in 1975. Life brought its share of challenges, including a difficult divorce. You never expect your story to take that turn, and the emotions, worry, and uncertainty are hard to understand unless you’ve lived it. I did—and I came out stronger. You dust yourself off and move forward.

My entire career has been in banking and mortgages. After years with two of the Big Banks, I became a Mortgage Broker in 2013—a leap of faith that turned out to be the best decision I’ve made. Twelve years later, I’m still grateful for the work I do.

I’ve worked with clients from every walk of life – from those with tremendous wealth to those just days away from foreclosure.  I’ve witnessed the joy of an approved mortgage and the and the heartache of those worrying if they’ll make it to month’s end.  These moments have shaped my understanding of what financial stability means for different people.

In recent years, I’ve found a new passion: helping seniors stay in the homes they love through reverse mortgages. Guiding clients through this stage—often filled with emotion, uncertainty, and big decisions—has become some of the most meaningful work I do.

Whether you’re navigating a divorce, supporting children as a single parent, or exploring options to age comfortably in place, I’m here to help. There’s always a mortgage solution.

Outside of work, I used to love dragon boating on Harrison Lake, but these days I’m more of a homebody—enjoying life, staying close to home, and feeling grateful for everything I have.

Until we meet….
